4,Umar Akmal is being fined Rs. two million. A warning will be issued to him by the Chairman PCB and he is being put on probation for six months, during which his conduct would be strictly monitored, the statement said.
5,For the shameful act of Shahid Khan Afridi, which has brought the game and country into disrepute, he is being fined Rs. three million. A warning is being issued to him by the PCB Chairman and he will be put on probation for six months, during which his conduct will be strictly monitored,' said the PCB statement.
6,Acting on the recommendations of its inquiry committee, the board also slapped a one-year ban, as well as fines of Rs.2 million each, on former captain Malik and Rana for misconduct during the tour of Australia, where the duo were reported for non-cooperation with the team management.

Here are some facts of our beloved phone company "NOKIA"

1) The ringtone "Nokia tune" is actually based on a 19th century guitar work named "Gran Vals" by Spanish musician Francisco T?rrega. The Nokia Tune was originally named "Grande Valse" on Nokia phones but was changed to "Nokia Tune" around 1998 when it became so well known that people referred to it as the "Nokia Tune."

2) The world's first commercial GSM call was made in 1991 in Helsinki over a Nokia-supplied network, by Prime Minister of Finland Harri Holkeri, using a Nokia phone.

3) Nokia is currently the world's largest digital camera manufacturer, as the sales of its camera-equipped mobile phones have exceeded those of any conventional camera manufacturer.

4) The "Special" tone available to users of Nokia phones when receiving SMS (text messages) is actually Morse code for "SMS". Similarly, the "Ascending" SMS tone is Morse code for "Connecting People," Nokia's slogan. The "Standard" SMS tone is Morse code for "M" (Message).

5) The Nokia corporate font (typeface) is the AgfaMonotype Nokia Sans font, originally designed by Eric Spiekermann. Its mobile phone User's Guides Nokia mostly used the Agfa Rotis Sans font.

6) In Asia, the digit 4 never appears in any Nokia handset model number, because 4 is considered unlucky in many parts of Southeast/East Asia.

7) Nokia was listed as the 20th most admirable company worldwide in Fortune's list of 2006 (1st in network communications, 4th non-US company).

8. Unlike other modern day handsets, Nokia phones do not automatically start the call timer when the call is connected, but start it when the call is initiated. (Except for Series 60 based handsets like the Nokia 6600)

9) Nokia is sometimes called aikon (Nokia backwards) by non-Nokia mobile phone users and by mobile software developers, because "aikon" is used in various SDK software packages, including Nokia's own Symbian S60 SDK.

10) The name of the town of Nokia originated from the river which flowed through the town. The river itself, Nokianvirta, was named after the old Finnish word originally meaning sable, later pine marten.

Neil says shut-up to Shahrukh

"Never again!" Neil Nitin Mukesh shudders at the very thought of the way he was forced to misbehave on stage with Shah Rukh Khan -- by Shah Rukh Khan himself.

Trust Shah Rukh to espouse irreverence. But Neil hasn't been able to get over it. Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu were in a state of shock after Neil's outburst on stage against Shah Rukh Khan at the Filmfare awards.

Two days after Neil told co-hosts Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan to just plainly and simply shut up on stage at the Filmfare Awards at Yashraj studios, the debate rages in the film industry.

Was the well-behaved blue-eyed-boy's aggressive impudence towards his superstar seniors on Neil's home turf (he's known as a full-on Yashraj boy) for real? Or was it just an act?

To rewind a bit: At the Filmfare awards, co-hosts Shah Rukh and Saif Ali Khan decided to take on Neil on stage, riling him endlessly. The final straw was the digs that Shah Rukh took at Neil's name.

"Neil," said Shah Rukh, "Why do you have three first names and no surname? My name is Khan. Saif too is a Khan. How come you have no last name?"

Neil couldn't take the slight to his family name. He not-so-gently reminded Shah Rukh that he ought to restrain himself because his, Neil's, father was sitting in the audience.

And then, horror of horrors, he told Shah Rukh to just shut up.

There was an uncomfortable silence in the auditorium.

Recalling the incident with an uncomfortable laugh, Neil said: "I'm still shaking. Imagine me telling Shah Rukh Khan to shut up! But I did. That isn't all. At the end of the show I walked up to Shah Rukh and Saif and broke eggs on their heads."

But relax. It was all part of an act.

"It was all planned by Shah Rukh sir. I was told by the organisers, the Moranis, from beforehand that I was supposed to be part of Shah Rukh's act. I was supposed to reach early and rehearse for it. But as luck would have it I had gone to town to pick up my parents and got stuck in the traffic. By the time I reached the venue there was only time for a quick briefing on what I had to do."

Shah Rukh walked up to Neil and quickly told him the plan on stage.

Neil was aghast. "How could I say shut up to Shah Rukh Khan? I've never been rude even to my driver. But he insisted. He also told me to throw eggs at him and Saif at the end of the show. I begged and pleaded to spare me. But Shah Rukh didn't listen."

Neil did his own on-the-spot improvisation on stage to spare himself the aggravated agony. "Instead of throwing the eggs I walked up to Saif and Shah Rukh and broke the eggs on their heads. How could I throw eggs at them? Their fans would never forgive me!"

After the act Neil's shocked father has still not forgiven his son, although he has been told it was all in jest.

Says Neil: "Bipasha rushed to me and said if it was an act then it was really scary. Katrina stormed up to me after the show and told me to apologize to Shah Rukh, at once."

Laughing nervously, Neil re-lived the trauma of being forced to be rude to a hero he worships.

"I'm glad people finally got to see my mischievous side... But no thanks. Never again."

Tears Of A Women

"Mom, why are you crying?" he asked his mom.

"Because I'm a woman" she told him.

"I don't understand," he said.

His mom just hugged him and said, "and you never will." Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason" was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to GOD. When GOD got on the phone the man said, "GOD, why do women cry so easily?"

GOD said:

"When I made women she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world; yet, gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly. This same sensitivity helps her to make a child's boo-boo feel better and shares in her teenagers anxieties and fears.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfaltering.

I gave her a tear to shed, it's hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed. It's her only weakness; it's a tear for mankind."

yan Giggs moved to England, from Wales, at the age of seven. He joined Dean's Youth FC where he learned how to play football.

On his fourteenth birthday Alex Ferguson went to Ryan Giggs' home in Swinton, Manchester, to ask him to sign schoolboy forms. Ken Barnes, City's chief scout, had already confirmed they would not be signing him. Their loss was Manchester United's gain, and the rest as they say is history!

At 16, Ryan signed amateur forms (YTS) and turned professional in November 1990, just after his 17th birthday.

Leonardo has revealed that David Beckham is not guaranteed a place in the starting XI when AC Milan take on Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League next week

Milan host the reigning Premier League champions in the San Siro on Tuesday in the first leg of the last-16 stage of the competition and the Brazilian coach has yet to decide whether to include Beckham against his former club.

After starting Milan's first five league games of 2010, Beckham has been a substitute in their last two, although he did play the final 15 minutes of the 3-2 win over Udinese on Friday night.

But Leonardo discarded the notion that former United midfielder Beckham was being saved to face Sir Alex Ferguson's men, insisting he had and will continue to pick the team he believes is best suited for each individual game.

"We know it's a very special match for him," said Leonardo.

"It's very special to play in the Champions League against his own team, let's say it like that.

"But we have got to analyse everything and we have a lot of players in good condition.

"We'll see how everybody is to choose the best team."

Beckham had to wait until late on before taking the place of Ronaldinho, whose spot in the team on Tuesday does not appear to be in any doubt after another inspirational performance against Udinese.

But Leonardo believes Beckham's versatility means the former England captain has a good chance of featuring against his former employers.

"I think he can play anywhere," added Leonardo.

"He's smart and intelligent and tactically he's perfect.

"There are no problems choosing a system or a position for him.

"He's been doing very well this year. He arrived in December and he knows the team and how we play.

Liverpool will play a waiting game with the fitness of a string of top stars, including Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard.

Striker Torres returned to the club's Melwood training ground today after his whistle-stop trip to Valencia.

He had sought a second opinion on his groin injury from specialist Ramon Cugat, who he has worked with before and was also favoured by boss Rafael Benitez when he worked at Valencia.

Spanish sources suggest Torres has been told to rest for three weeks but Liverpool's top scorer is still being considered for Monday's match.

If he did rest, Torres would miss Spain's home friendly next weekend against Argentina in his home-town stadium, Atletico Madrid's Vicente Calderon.

And, although there is a two-week international break from league action, Torres would still miss the Birmingham match and then games against Manchester City, Debrecen in the Champions League and the Merseyside derby at Everton.

Torres is believed not to want to take that course of action and has been in light training today.

He will have further careful sessions over the weekend before a decision is made about his availability to face Birmingham.

Gerrard, with a lesser groin problem than Torres, has had another pain-killing injection this week and has also done some light training.

He will continue in the same vein this weekend, when Benitez will also consider his fitness levels.

Albert Riera (hamstring), Fabio Aurelio (calf) and Martin Skrtel (virus) are likely to be back in action but the Reds still have serious worries about Glen Johnson (calf) and Martin Kelly (ankle), with neither expected to be fit for the next match.

It is a match Liverpool must be looking to win if they are to continue their fight for what realistically is a top-four finish, with the title seemingly out of reach.

And defender Daniel Agger, who is easing his way back into action following back surgery, insists they must rediscover their killer instinct soon.

The Dane said: "You get what you deserve in football and you have to look at closing the game down otherwise you get punished in the way we did in Lyon (when a last-minute equaliser left their Champions League hopes hanging by a thread).

"Physically I feel okay. I wanted to play there and I do all I can to play in every match, as all the lads do here, but sometimes it's not going to happen.

Ryan Giggs will be out of action for up to four weeks after suffering a fracture to his right arm against Aston Villa.
The Reds veteran went for an x-ray after being forced to leave the field 74 minutes into Wednesday's 1-1 draw, following a clash with Villa substitute Steve Sidwell.
And United confirmed on Thursday that Giggs is facing a month on the sidelines, meaning he'll miss the Carling Cup final against Villa on 28 February.
Giggs will also sit out next week's Champions League trip to AC Milan, though Sir Alex will hope to have the 36-year-old back for the home leg against the Italians on 10 March.
It's another blow to the Reds' Wembley plans, with Nani also suspended for three matches following his straight red card against Martin O'Neill's side.
