Ipl 2010 second game between Mumbai Indians and Rajastan Royals, Yusuf Pathan scored fastest century yet in IPL for Rajastan Royals but was unable to save the game against Mumbai Indians.
its was the first fatest hundred in the ipl history, munbai Indians batted first and scored a redoubtable 212 for six on their home ground—that was mainly due to half centuries by Ambath Rayudu and Saurabh Tiwary.
Yosuf then achieved milestone by hitting 100 runs from just 27 balls and then aided by 41 runs by Paras Dogra. The game was then put it in the contention; however, Shane Warne’s side eventually was only scored 208 for seven.
Warne said after the game “”I’ve played this game for 20-odd years, I’ve seen Sachin (Tendulkar) smash bowlers all around the park plenty of times and I’ve seen some wonderful players, but this is probably the best innings I’ve ever seen” he further said “”Pure, clean striking in a game situation, 100 off only 37 balls, I don’t think I’ve seen a better innings in 21 years of cricket. So well done to Yusuf.”.
Tendulkar was also praising the Yosuf’s game and saying “”It was a special innings, but I can’t say it was a treat to watch because we were at the receiving end”.
When someone bats like this, the only thing you can do is to try and block him somewhere. Overall, this has been a good game for us.” He further said.
